Complete Your Conflict Management Style Assessment |
 |
Conflict is a part of everyone's life. Although we all experience conflict, we don't all respond to it in the same way.
You have a preferred conflict management style. Your conflict management style is likely not something you've intentionally adopted but it is something that you have learned and that has been reinforced by life experiences.
Each conflict management style has its strengths and its challenges. Determine your preferred conflict management style and learn how this style can assist you or challenge you when you experience conflict.
This personal assessment will take you approximately 25 minutes to complete.
The questionnaire is divided into two sections. Part A consists of 50 statements. As you read each statement rate it on a scale of 1 to 5 where 1 is least like you and 5 is most like you. Each statement begins with "When I am in a conflict situation, I ..." and concludes with a description of an attitude or behavior. Consider how well this statement describes you in a general way in most conflict situations.
Part B consists of 50 word pairs. Consider the two words presented and choose the word that most accurately describes your attitude or behavior in conflict situations. Choose the word that describes you best. |
